January 23. 2026 | 12pm - 3pm ET<br>Presenter: Sara Tilisky, SWT<br><br>*The State of Sex Education in Ohio*<br><br>As the social and political landscape of Ohio is vast and ever-changing, health professionals concerned with sexual and emotional wellness may be wondering: “What are kids learning in sex ed these days? And how do they feel about it?” This virtual session seeks to shed light on the patchwork of organizations providing sexual health education to today’s youth, specify important policies that determine educational offerings, and consider the implications of porn access taking the place of sexual health instruction.<br><br>Mental health practitioners will be able to ask questions to a paraprofessional currently delivering sex education to Ohio teens and young adults, and discuss what implications current offerings and policy changes may have regarding clinical mental health counseling and long-term attitudes toward sexuality.<br><br>This course has been approved for 3 CEUs by Ohio CSWMFT &amp; AASECT.
