In this 2-hour training, we will identify the criteria used by medical and mental health professionals to assess for gender-affirming medical interventions. We will provide an overview of the interventions included in the category of gender-affirming healthcare and their impact on clients’ physical and mental health. Lastly, we will discuss ethical considerations regarding access to gender-affirming healthcare.
