    Kimberly Fuller, Ph.D., LISW-S, CST

    Owner & Clinical Director

    Dr. Kimberly Fuller (she/they) is the owner of Cleveland Sex & Intimacy Counseling and an Associate Professor at Cleveland State University in the School of Social Work. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality Studies and a Master’s in Social Work. She has been in the social work field since 2012 and became a certified sex therapist in 2017. She has 11 years of experience working in the field of sexuality and sees individuals and couples with an array of sexual concerns. Dr. Fuller is EMDR-trained and is continuing her EMDRIA certification.

     

    Dr. Fuller has authored thirteen peer-reviewed publications as well as six book chapters. Dr. Fuller is also in the process of co-creating a comprehensive and inclusive sex education curriculum to be piloted in 2023. She serves as the treasurer on the board of directors for the Ohio Sexual Health Collaborative.

    Kara Tellaisha, MBA

    Kara Tellaisha (she/her) oversees the administrative and business operations at Cleveland Sex & Intimacy Counseling. With a background in conflict resolution and LGBTQ+ education/advocacy, she has held various roles in business administration and higher education. Before joining CSIC, she served as the inaugural Director of LGBTQ+ Student Services at Cleveland State University. Kara is also an experienced mediator, facilitator, and presenter. She offers mediation training courses several times each year, and LGBTQ+ Inclusivity trainings by request.

     

    Kara serves on the Advisory Board for Cleveland Mediation Center. She received both her BA and MBA from Cleveland State University.

    Jillian DeCarlo, LPC

    Clinician

    Jillian DeCarlo (she/they) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a 2018 Bachelor’s degree in Art Therapy from Ursuline College and a 2023 Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University. Their education focused on human sexuality and LGBTQ+ topics, and they are interested in continuing education to become AASECT certified. Most of their professional experience has been working with the LGBTQ+ community, and in residential, college, and elementary school settings. They have experience with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and adjustment disorders. Jillian’s interests include sexuality and identity exploration, sexual health, relationship and parenting navigation, stress management, LGBTQ+ identity, and advocacy. To develop a healthy therapeutic relationship, she strives to create a safe, judgment-free environment using gender-affirming and trauma-informed care with sex- and kink-positivity. They believe each client needs an experience tailored to individual needs and use a client-centered, collaborative, and mindfulness approach pulling from attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, creative arts, and narrative therapy, as well as others.

    Rachel Drotar, LSW

    Clinician

    Rachel Drotar (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and plans to begin AASECT accreditation in sex therapy this year. Rachel brings experience in education, community and sexual health, and program management. Rachel believes in exploring joy and pleasure throughout the life course, drawing from radical acceptance, mindfulness practices, attachment theory, and the Enneagram. She values the exploration of sexuality and identity development within life transitions, in individual and collective trauma, and in living with chronic illness. Rachel provides trauma-informed, sex-positive, and gender-affirming care, holding space for spirituality and healing, as well as care to the LGBTQIA+ and consensual non-monogamy communities.

    Hannah Harris, LPC, NCC

    Clinician

    Hannah Harris (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. She plans to work toward her AASECT certification while practicing at CSIC. Hannah takes a special interest in those who hope to explore new dimensions of their sexuality and sexual expression and those working through life transitions including postpartum and menopause.

     

    Previously, she received her bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she focused on understanding stories through film production and screenwriting. Now, as a therapist, she explores stories in a new way by utilizing a narrative and psychodynamic framework. Hannah is passionate about providing a judgment-free and brave space for both monogamous and ethically non-monogamous individuals and partnerships. She provides sex-positive, kink-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and gender-affirming care.

    Celestia Helbrede, LSW

    Clinician

    Celestia Helbrede (they/them) is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and is working towards full AASECT accreditation in sex therapy and education. They have been practicing therapeutic services while attending school for two years and have worked in private practices, hospitals, free clinics, refugee agencies, and with adolescents in a school-based setting. Celestia has a Bachelor’s degree in Community Advocacy from Ohio University, where they wrote their thesis on Appalachian Identity and Community Liberation. Celestia draws from radical acceptance and humanistic perspectives for her therapeutic practice while valuing cultural competence and social justice. Celestia is passionate about providing trauma-informed, sex- and kink-positive, and gender-affirming care. Additionally, they specialize in stress management, adolescent and young adult transitions, and body image and eating-related disorders.

    Miguel Hernandez, LPC (accepting new clients!)

    Miguel Hernandez (he/him) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College. Miguel has been practicing counseling with a focus on mental health and/or those challenged with addiction since 2020. Miguel's core goal is to help clients feel empowered and embody the changes one is seeking. Miguel also is sure to attend to the power of relationships, to the self and others.     Brenna Kegg, LPC

    Clinician

    Brenna Kegg (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University. Brenna is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, also at Cleveland State. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, a college counseling clinic, and hospitals. She has experience treating anxiety, mood disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and adjustment difficulties. Brenna’s areas of interest include the LGBTQ community, sexual health and dysfunction, chronic illness, the HIV+ community, identity development, and women’s issues and wellness. She utilizes a feminist and person-centered approach and draws from several theoretical models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.     Jessie Leu, LPCC, LICDC

    Clinician

    Jessie Leu (he/him) is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University as well as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. Jessie has been practicing therapeutic services in multiple settings over the past 6.5 years and has experience working with eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance use. Jessie believes in providing a safe space for his clients using a person-centered approach which focuses on the importance of each client's goals, preferences, and values. Jessie's main focus in session is ensuring that each client is heard, respected, and able to be their most authentic self.

    April Millis, LSW

    Clinician

    April Millis (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker who approaches her work through a trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and intersectional lens. She received both a Master of Social Work and Trauma Recovery Certificate from Widener University and earned her bachelor's in Psychology and Sexuality Studies from Wright State University. April's professional background includes counseling and education within a variety of settings—most notably on the topics of human sexuality, the LGBTQIA+ community, ethical non-monogamy, and kink-positive culture—and she intends to pursue AASECT certification in sex therapy and education. She has worked extensively with older adults in hospice and nursing home settings and provided substance use psychoeducation to marginalized communities. April's clinical practice pulls from a variety of approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, and Health At Every Size care.     Hallie Poor, LSW

    Clinician

    Hallie Poor (she/her) became a Licensed Social worker in 2017 and has a Master's in Social Work from the University of Akron. Her professional experience includes working with the LGBTQ+ community and adults with PTSD. She has held previous positions focused on health literacy and sex education, advocacy in the community, and emotion regulation and skill-building for those who have experienced trauma. Hallie strives to provide an affirming, collaborative, and safe environment for individuals to work through anything from relationship and intimacy issues to exploring sexuality and gender identity.

    Caleb Sargent, LISW, CST

    Caleb Sargent (they/them) is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and AASECT Certified Sex Therapist with a Master's in Social Work from Cleveland State University. Caleb's work history has been primarily dedicated to LGBTQ+ individuals and community advocacy. They draw on an eclectic mix of Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, existential, relational-cultural, and here-and-now approaches. Caleb’s areas of interest are LGBTQ+ issues, children of emotionally immature parents, ADHD, Autism, couples, identity exploration, depression, anxiety, and sex therapy issues.     Elliot Williams, LSW

    Clinician

    Elliot Williams (they/them) is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Cleveland State University. Elliot has a passion for providing safe and identity-affirming mental health care for members of the neurodivergent, queer, trans, kink, and polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous communities. Elliot takes a person-centered, empowerment-based approach that treats each individual as the best expert on themselves and acknowledges the impacts of marginalization and complex trauma.

     

    Elliot has an interest in areas including anxiety, depression, intimacy-related concerns, gender & sexuality exploration, spirituality exploration, trauma recovery, addiction, body image, eating disorders, and supporting the neurodivergent lived experience. Elliot specializes in trauma-informed care and has a background working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and childhood sexual abuse. They have experience in multiple therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness.     Antoinette Benson

    Intern - Clinician

    Antoinette Benson (she/her) is an intern pursuing her Master's Degree in Social Work from Ohio University. After graduation she is interested in obtaining her LISW license and AASECT certification and working as a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in Sex Therapy. After graduating in 2012 with her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University, she has worked in the fields of mental health and child welfare, with individuals who have struggled with alcohol and drug addiction, and as an E.A.P. provider.

     

    Antoinette seeks to assist individuals within the African-American community in debunking myths about sexuality, intimacy, and kinks while educating and exploring their own sexual identity.

     

    Antoinette sees self-pay clients at a reduced rate of $25 per session, as well as clients with Medicaid Managed Care plans.

    Ash Eging (she/they) is an intern working towards her Master’s of Social Work at The Ohio State University. Their work has primarily focused on community advocacy for marginalized populations. She is dedicated to tailoring her therapeutic approach to align with each individual client’s needs, utilizing anti-oppressive and trauma-informed frameworks while drawing from Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. Their areas of interest include LGBTQ+ issues, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, and long COVID. She is also passionate about working with folks from LGBTQ+ and polyamorous/ethically non-monogamous communities who are exploring their sexuality, gender identity, or relationship style.

     

    Ash provides a collaborative, sex-positive, and non-judgmental space for her clients to unpack limiting beliefs while working towards their therapeutic goals. They strive to help individuals feel validated, empowered, and safe to be their authentic selves.

    Giana Formica

    Giana Formica (they/she) is currently pursuing their Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Administration and Women and Gender Studies from Cleveland State University. She has experience working in reproductive rights, sex education, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and supporting chronic illness communities. Giana supports the admin team at CSIC by scheduling appointments for new clients and responding to prospective client inquiries. They also work as a program assistant for LGBTQ+ Student Services at Cleveland State University and are a Crohn's Colitis Young Adult Network (CCYAN) Fellow.

     

    Outside of their work she enjoys hanging out with their partner, spending time at drag shows, and drinking coffee.
